Join Cuppa Culture founder Sophie Davies for a monthly in-person group for female founders that meet in Marin County, CA on the last Monday of the month. It is an informal way to connect, share resources, and link arms with fellow business owners to forge new ways of doing business.
This month we will be focusing on our intentions for the quarter ahead, and incorporating the learnings from the last three months into how we approach Q4.
How It Works
The group is a consistent way to meet like-minded business owners, creatives, or those who run a business on behalf of someone else who identifies as female. We introduce ourselves, and our ventures, and discuss all things related to starting and running a business and beyond including:
Share: Exchange helpful knowledge and resources.
Source: Find local opportunities or leads for potential collaboration.
Critique: Provide and get kind feedback on ideas and new concepts.
Workshop: Ask for help or guidance to manage a challenge or roadblock.
Expand: Grow your network and meet other like-minded women.
Celebrate: Big and small wins with a community that follows and collaborates with each other outside our sessions together.
We Go Further Together in Community
It is important for each participant to feel seen and heard so I limit the cohort to 20 women so that everyone gets to introduce themselves and ask the group for what they need. The collective nature of these in-person sessions contributes towards improving connectivity with others, collaboration, and belonging (particularly when running a business by yourself).
The act of getting more specific about what you want, verbally sharing it in a safe space, and then redirecting your energy toward it will help you feel more aligned, motivated, and part of something.

MEET Your Facilitator:
Sophie Davies
Sophie Davies is a tea-loving Brit who loves bringing people together to learn and inspire in Marin County, CA. She is a brand strategy consultant and community builder with a background in PR, marketing, branding, and events in the U.K. and the U.S.
Sophie has previously been the co-owner of boutique agency Prim’d Marketing, events director at the co-working space The Hivery, and senior PR Director at ModusBPCM. She has worked with an international portfolio of brands including Lacoste, Esprit, Birkenstock, Calvin Klein, and Hugo Boss over the past 24 years. Her passion is facilitating meaningful experiences over a good cup of tea to help cultivate connection and improve well-being in her community.
